Abstract

Abstrak Kota Bitung, Provinsi Sulawesi Utara, merupakan wilayah yang rentan terhadap bencana akibat karakteristik fisik dan demografisnya. Kepadatan penduduk, wilayah terbangun yang luas, kapasitas terhadap risiko bencana yang rendah, topografi berbukit, curah hujan tinggi, serta struktur tanah dan batuan menjadi faktor utama penyebab risiko bencana di Kota Bitung. Berdasarkan data BPS tahun 2024, jenis bencana yang paling signifikan terjadi di Kota Bitung adalah banjir, longsor, kebakaran hutan dan lahan, serta cuaca ekstrim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tingkat risiko bencana multihazard di Kota Bitung. Kajian ini mengacu pada pedoman PERKA BNPB No. 2 Tahun 2012, dengan menghitung indeks ancaman, penduduk terpapar, kerugian, kerentanan, dan kapasitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis spasial melalui overlay, skoring, serta pembobotan menggunakan ArcMap 10.8. Hasilnya, Kota Bitung secara umum masuk dalam klasifikasi risiko sedang. Pada tingkat kecamatan, Kecamatan Ranowulu termasuk kategori tinggi; Kecamatan Madidir, Aertembaga, dan Matuari kategori sedang; sedangkan Kecamatan Lembeh Selatan, Girian, Maesa, dan Lembeh Utara kategori rendah. Kata Kunci: Bencana, banjir, longsor, kebakaran hutan dan lahan, cuaca ekstrim, risiko bencana multihazard.    ABSTRACT  City, located in North Sulawesi Province, is an area prone to disasters due to its physical and demographic characteristics. High population density, extensive built-up areas, and low capacity to cope with disaster risks, along with hilly topography, high rainfall, and soil and rock structure, are the main factors contributing to disaster risk in Bitung City. Based on 2024 BPS data, the most significant types of disasters occurring in Bitung City are floods, landslides, forest and land fires, and extreme weather. This study aims to assess the level of multihazard disaster risk in Bitung City. The assessment refers to the guidelines of PERKA BNPB No. 2 of 2012, by calculating the threat index, exposed population, losses, vulnerability, and capacity. The method used is spatial analysis through overlay, scoring, and weighting using ArcMap 10.8. The results show that, in general, Bitung City falls into the medium-risk classification. At the sub-district level, Ranowulu District is categorized as high risk; Madidir, Aertembaga, and Matuari Districts are in the medium category; while Lembeh Selatan, Girian, Maesa, and Lembeh Utara Districts are categorized as low risk.  Keywords: Disasters, floods, landslides, forest and land fires, extreme weather, multi-hazard disaster risk
