Solar panel-based Public Street Lighting (PSL) is an innovative solution that supports the availability of environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, and self-sustaining street lighting systems. This journal discusses a community service program conducted at SMA Nurul Falaah, Gunung Sindur. The system was designed using solar panels, a solar charge controller, lithium batteries equipped with a Battery Management System (BMS), and energy-efficient LED lamps. This activity aimed to improve the quality of lighting within the school environment, which previously relied on conventional lighting systems. The implementation process included identifying the school’s environmental needs, designing a solar panel-based PSL system, installing the equipment, and providing training on system operation and maintenance to students. In addition to enhancing the safety and comfort of the school environment, this program also provided education regarding renewable energy to students and the surrounding community. The solar-powered PSL system was considered effective, energy-efficient, and highly suitable for implementation in other locations with similar conditions.
