AbstrakPengetahuan remaja di Indonesia mengenai masalah kesehatan reproduksi memang masih minim. Banyak remaja tidak mengindahkan bahkan tidak tahu dampak dari prilaku seksual mereka terhadap kesehatan reproduksi baik dalam waktu yang cepat maupun dalam waktu yang lebih panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan pengetahuan remaja pada kelompok peer group. Metode Penelitian menggunakan desain pre test and post test design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 2 Lhoksukon sebagai kelompok peer group. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cara total sampel, jumlah responden kelompok peer group sebanyak 82 responden dan Pengolahan data menggunakan sistem SPSS. Untuk menjawab hipotesis penelitian menggunakan rumus paired t-test didapatkan nilai p.value = 0.000. Disimpulkan bahwa penyampaian pendidikan kesehatan oleh peer group berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan remaja di SMP Negeri 2 Lhoksukon Kabupaten Aceh Utara.Kata kunci : peer group, pengetahuan, kesehatan, reproduksi, remaja Abstract Indonesian adolescents’ knowledge on reproductive health is very limited. Many of them do not have much knowledge and simply ignore the effects of their sexual behaviors towards their reproductive health, either for the short or long term effects. This study aimed to increase the adolescent knowledge on the peer group. The research method used was by implementing the pre-test and post-test design. The study was conducted in the public junior high schools SMP Negeri 2 Lhoksukon (as the peer group) and SMP Negeri 4 Cot Girek (as the non-peer group). The sampling technique was done by employing the total sample, which had 82 respondents for the peer group and 79 respondents for the non-peer group.The data processing was done by SPSS. The paired t-test was used to answer the research hypothesis obtaining the p-value of 0.000. Thus, it can be concluded that the delivery of health education by the peer group has significantly influenced the increase of the adolescent knowledge in SMP Negeri 2 Lhoksukon, North Aceh District.
