<![CDATA[Contract management plays an important role in preventing claims in apartment construction projects characterized by design changes, multiple stakeholders, and inconsistencies between contract documents and actual site conditions. This study aims to evaluate existing apartment project contract management practices against CMBOK 7th edition principles, identify claim-causing factors, and develop a contract management framework for claim prevention. The study employed a mixed method sequential exploration approach through document review, literature synthesis, semi-structured interviews, and CMBOK 7th based conceptual analysis. The synthesis shows that the main causes of the claim include unclear scope of work, design changes, bill of quantities ambiguity, weak contract administration, and unsystematic change control. This study proposes a CMBOK 7th based framework consisting of contract planning control, contract formation control, contract execution control, and contract learning control to strengthen claim prevention in apartment construction projects.]]>
