<![CDATA[Low back pain, osteoarthritis, and hypertension are common chronic conditions that frequentlycoexist and significantly reduce patients’ quality of life, particularly among women whose dailyactivities involve repetitive, ergonomically unfavorable tasks and poor lifestyle habits, compoundedby genetic predisposition. We report the case of a 38-year-old woman who presented with persistentlow back pain and knee joint pain for two weeks, which worsened in the last five days, in addition tohaving been diagnosed with hypertension two months earlier; physical examination revealed lumbarparaspinal tenderness, bilateral knee crepitus, and blood pressure of 144/90 mmHg, while laboratoryevaluation showed normal uric acid levels, and further assessment identified multiple risk factorsincluding overweight status, poor ergonomic posture during household chores, high sodium andcarbohydrate intake, and maternal history of hypertension. A holistic diagnosis was establishedconsisting of low back pain (M54.4), osteoarthritis of the knee (M17), and essential hypertensionstage 1 (I10), and management combined pharmacological therapy with diclofenac,glucosamine-chondroitin, and amlodipine alongside non-pharmacological interventions such asergonomic correction, structured exercise, dietary modification with the DASH diet, and familyinvolvement in reducing workload and supporting lifestyle changes. This case illustrates theimportance of comprehensive family medicine approaches that integrate biomedical, behavioral,social, and genetic aspects to improve patient outcomes and prevent complications.]]>
