This study was motivated by the low levels of emotional regulation and mental resilience among elementary school students in dealing with academic and social problems, due to the fact that learning still focuses on cognitive aspects and the lack of educational media that support students’ emotional development. This study aims to determine the effect of the Self-Improvement Book learning medium based on Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) with Coping Strategies on the emotional regulation and mental resilience of elementary school students. This study is an experimental study using a posttest-only control group design. The research subjects consisted of an experimental group and a control group. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics and multivariate analysis. The results indicate that there is a significant simultaneous effect of the Self-Improvement Book learning media based on Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) with Coping Strategies on the emotional regulation and mental resilience of elementary school students. Thus, this learning media is suitable for use as an alternative in developing the emotional abilities of elementary school students.
