The Komunitas Dapur K-Apel in Makassar, whose members consist of housewives, is one of the community groups that owns a variety of home-based business products with strong potential to be marketed widely. However, most of its members still have limited knowledge of how to market their products through social media. This community service program aimed to improve participants' ability to create simple advertisement content using the Canva application so that their products could be promoted on social media with a more attractive appearance. The program was carried out through a community development approach consisting of observation, socialization of digital marketing concepts, hands-on design training using Canva, and mentoring in uploading the design outputs to social media. This activity was part of the Kampus Lorong program, carried out in collaboration with Komunitas Anak Pelangi (K-Apel) and Yayasan Kebudayaan Aruna Ikatuo Indonesia as well as Handayani University Makassar. The results showed that participants successfully produced several brochure and poster designs through Canva that were ready to be promoted on social media. Participants also demonstrated high enthusiasm and an improved understanding of basic digital marketing concepts, types of marketing platforms, and how to create engaging promotional content. The program is concluded to have successfully equipped the housewives of K-Apel Kitcen Community with basic graphic design and digital marketing skills that can support the sustainability of their businesses, and should be followed up with periodic social media marketing mentoring.
