This juridical-normative research aims to analyze the legality of the credit payment system of Non-Bank Financial Institutions (LKNB) in 2026 from the perspective of Sharia Economic Law and the regulations of the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The phenomenon of a 90-day Non-Performing Loan rate (TWP90) surge to 4.52% indicates a failure in risk mitigation due to the shift to Alternative Credit Scoring (ACS) which ignores actual financial capacity (payment capacity). This juridical-normative research aims to analyze the mechanism of the credit payment system in Non-Bank Financial Institutions (LKNB) in 2026 and to review the legitimacy of the practice from the perspective of Islamic Economic Law.
