Abstract

Maintenance seringkali dihubungkan sebagai akar dari suatu kehandalan (reliability), oleh karena itu, perlu adanya strategi maintenance yang baik untuk meningkatkan reliability dari suatu sistem produksi. Lube Oil Blending Plant (LOBP) Lemigas merupakan instalasi pabrikasi minyak lumas terdiri dari storage tank, premix tank, blending tank, filling machine dengan desain proses manufacturing batch line flow yang belum memiliki jadwal perawatan yang baik. Perancangan penjadwalan maintenance diperlukan untuk mengurangi downtime pada mesin produksi, sehingga tidak mengganggu jadwal produksi. Penjadwalan yang diusulkan adalah preventive maintenance dengan metode age replacement untuk mengidentifikasi pola kerusakan sebagai langkah perbaikan untuk mendapatkan interval preventive maintenance. Penentuan interval waktu penggantian pencegahan dengan menggunakan metode age replacement dapat menghasilkan nilai penurunan downtime sebesar 4.4%, sehingga terjadi penghematan biaya perawatan mesin sebesar 35%. Maintenance is often attributed as the root of a reliability, therefore, the need for a good maintenance strategies to improve the reliability of a production system. Lemigas Lube Oil Blending Plant is a fabrication lubricant installation is composed of storage tanks, premix tanks, blending tanks, filling machine with batch manufacturing process line design flow that does not yet have a good maintenance schedule. The design of maintenance sched­uling is required to reduce the downtime on the production machine, so as not to interfere with the production schedule. The proposed scheduling is preventive maintenance with age replacement method to identify patterns of damage as improvement to get preventive maintenance intervals. The determination of preventive replacement time interval by using the method of age replacement can generate value decrease downtime amounting 4.4%, so engine maintenance cost savings 35 %.
