Abstract

Maksud dari pengolahan data sesmik adalah: memproses data lapangan menjadi sismic section yang persyaratannya sesuai dengan kepentingan interprestasinya. Untuk keperluan tersebut diperlukan peralatan-peralatan yakni komputer beserta perlengkapannya (yang umumnya disebut hardware) dan prosedur yang memerintahkan bagaimana komputer itu harus bekerja dan ini berujud program komputer (yang umumnya disebut software).
