Abstract

Abstrak: Transformasi digital di sektor kesehatan mewajibkan seluruh fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan menerapkan Rekam Medis Elektronik (RME) sesuai PMK No. 24 Tahun 2022. Abstract: The digital transformation in the healthcare sector requires all healthcare facilities to implement Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in accordance with Minister of Finance Regulation No. 24 of 2022. However, high school and vocational high school students’ literacy regarding health data management and career opportunities in the field of Health Information Management (HIM) remains low. This community service activity aims to improve students’ understanding and practical skills through EMR outreach and simulations. The methods used include interactive lectures, pre-tests, hands-on data entry practice using the SIMRS Pilar application, and post-tests. The activity was conducted at Vocational High School X and Senior High School X in Surakarta with a total of 241 participants. Knowledge assessment (quantitative) was conducted through pre-tests and post-tests, while qualitative evaluation was based on observations of student engagement and enthusiasm during the practical sessions. The results showed an increase in knowledge, with 100% of participants who took the post-test scoring above 60. Although participation in the post-test decreased by 32.8% due to time constraints, student enthusiasm for the simulation practice was very high. The conclusion from this activity is that practice-based education is highly effective in bridging the gap between the school curriculum and the needs of the digital healthcare industry.
