<![CDATA[Although it has been widely introduced, the implementation of green procurement hasnot yet run as expected. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the dominant inhibitingfactors that influence the implementation of green procurement in Solok Selatandistrict and formulate strategies to face the challenges of implementing greenprocurement. Inhibiting factors were identified from a literature review that wasadjusted to conditions in the region. Data collection methods were carried out byinterviews and questionnaires. Data were processed using the RII method to obtain theweight and dominant inhibiting factors of the implementation of green procurement.SWOT analysis was used to formulate strategies. The results of the identification andinterviews produced 27 valid factors that were grouped into PESTLE (political,economic, social, technological, legal and environmental). The results of the RIIanalysis showed that human resource factors and regulatory, policy, guideline andstandard factors were the dominant inhibiting factors in the implementation of greenprocurement in Solok Selatan district. This study further recommends 4 strategies toface the challenges of implementing green procurement based on the results of theSWOT analysis.]]>
