Abstract: Internship programs are an integral component of vocational education designed to align theoretical knowledge with industrial needs. However, their implementation often overlooks legal protections, particularly regarding workplace accident risks and exploitation. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to enhance the understanding of students at SMK Hasanah Pekanbaru concerning the normative rights and legal protections of interns. The method employed was counseling through lectures and QA sessions. The success of the activity was measured using pre-test and post-test questionnaire instruments. The results showed a significant increase in student understanding, rising from only 28% of participants initially understanding the legal aspects of internships to 82% following the socialization. Students are now able to identify rights to social security, working hour limits, and complaint procedures through the official channels of the Ministry of Manpower. Keywords: Legal Protection, Internship, Vocational High School (SMK), Social Security.
