<![CDATA[Hospitalization stress is a feeling of pressure in children caused by physical or psychological crises when the child is sick and treated in the hospital. This causes various responses, including changes in sleep patterns in toddlers. The study aims to determine the relationship between stress and sleep patterns in toddlers during hospitalization. The descriptive correlation design uses a cross-sectional approach. The study population was all toddlers aged 1-3 years who were treated in the pediatric inpatient ward, totaling 68 children. The sampling technique used was total sampling. Data collection used a questionnaire about sleep patterns and stress in children. The independent variable was stress and the dependent variable was the child's sleep pattern. Analysis was carried out using the chi-square test. The study found that 59 children (86.8%) experienced stress and 9 children (13.2%) did not experience stress, and there was no relationship between stress and sleep patterns in toddlers during hospitalization (p-value 0.680). Researchers recommend involving parents in child care to prevent children from experiencing stress during hospitalization.]]>
