Abstract

Perubahan iklim telah mengakibatkan peningkatan frekuensi cuaca ekstrem yang berdampak signifikan terhadap masyarakat pesisir, khususnya di Pantai Jetis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model prediksi cuaca ekstrem berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI) guna meningkatkan akurasi dan mempercepat analisis data cuaca, khususnya di wilayah Pantai Jetis, Kebumen, Jawa Tengah. Dengan menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data historis dari BMKG dan mendukung pengambilan keputusan mitigasi risiko serta membantu masyarakat pesisir dan pengelola wisata dalam mitigasi bencana melalui pemberian peringatan dini terhadap potensi cuaca ekstrim. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa AI mampu memberikan peringatan dini terhadap potensi cuaca ekstrem. Namun masih terdapat kendala yaitu keterbatasan data historis dan tingkat penerimaan masyarakat terhadap teknologi baru. Diharapkan penelitian ini mampu memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan teknologi mitigasi bencana di kawasan pesisir. Climate change has led to an increase in the frequency of extreme weather events, significantly impacting coastal communities, particularly in Jetis Beach. This study aims to develop an artificial intelligence (AI)- based model to improve the accuracy and speed of weather data analysis, specifically in the Jetis Beach area, Kebumen, Central Java. Utilizing the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to analyze historical data from BMKG, the study supports decision-making in risk mitigation and helps coastal communities and tourism managers in disaster mitigation through early warnings of potential extreme weather. The findings show that AI can provide early warnings of potential extreme weather. However, challenges remain, including limited historical data and low public acceptance of new technologies. This research is expected to contribute to the development of disaster mitigation technologies in coastal areas.
