<![CDATA[This study analyzes the legal implications of unlawful acts committed by corporations against copyright license agreements using the Mie Gacoan case as a reference. The background of this study is based on the increase in copyright infringement in commercial business practices, particularly the unauthorized use of copyrighted works that harms the economic rights of creators. This study uses a normative legal method with a legislative, case, and conceptual approach, based on the Civil Code, Law Number 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright, and Government Regulation Number 56 of 2021. The results of the study show that the use of creations without a valid license by corporations fulfills the elements of unlawful acts as stipulated in Article 1365 of the Civil Code. Such actions violate the principle of good faith in contractual relationships and give rise to civil liability and potential criminal sanctions. The enforcement of corporate responsibility in copyright licensing is important to ensure legal certainty and the protection of the economic rights of creators.]]>
