<![CDATA[This study examines the impact of safety talk educational videos on improving knowledge, attitudes, and safety communication behavior among workers in the mining sector. Mining activities carry high risks, making clear communication essential to prevent incidents. Verbal delivery is often less effective, especially for workers with diverse educational backgrounds. To address this, the study employed video-based safety talks that present safety messages in a simpler and more comprehensible way. The research design used was a quasi-experimental one-group pretest–posttest involving 100 workers at PT Mitra Muda Prima. Data on knowledge, attitudes, and communication behavior were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed with the Kolmogorov–Smirnov test and paired t-test. Results showed improvements across all variables, with knowledge experiencing the greatest increase. Attitudes and communication behavior also showed positive changes. Statistical analysis confirmed significant differences between pretest and posttest scores (p <0.001). These findings demonstrate that video-based safety talks are effective in strengthening safety communication in high-risk workplaces.]]>
