<![CDATA[Background: Oral health in preschool children is an important aspect of growth and development, yet it is often overlooked. Parents’ perceptions play a crucial role in shaping children's oral health behaviors, including decisions to seek dental care. Objective: To determine the influence of parents’ perceptions regarding their children’s oral health on the frequency of dental visits among preschoolers at Kindergarten ABA AL-Hikmah, Donotirto Village. Methods: This analytic observational study used a cross-sectional design. A total of 141 parents/guardians were included through total sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire assessing parental perceptions and the frequency of dental visits. Data analysis was conducted using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of 0.05. Results: There was a significant association between parents’ perceptions and children’s dental visit frequency, with a p-value of 0.001 (p<0.05). Conclusion: Parents’ perceptions significantly influence children’s dental visits. Parents with positive perceptions are more likely to bring their children for routine dental check-ups.
