<![CDATA[Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) are a major health problem with a continuously rising prevalence, and most develop without symptoms in their early stages, making early detection of their risk factors highly important. This community service activity aimed to detect NCD risk factors early through health screening and to improve community knowledge through education. The activity was conducted at the Kemiri Village Hall, Jenangan Subdistrict, Ponorogo Regency, on 12 May 2026, and was attended by 44 participants. Screening included measurement of blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), blood glucose, total cholesterol, and uric acid, while education was delivered through a counseling method supported by leaflets. Participants' knowledge was measured using pre-test and post-test questionnaires. Screening showed a high proportion of NCD risk factors among participants: hypertension 38.6%, overweight 31.8%, elevated total cholesterol 38.6%, elevated blood glucose 27.3%, and elevated uric acid 20.5%. The education improved participants' knowledge, with the proportion of participants with good knowledge increasing from 18.2% before to 72.7% after the education. This activity demonstrates that health screening is effective in detecting NCD risk factors early and that education is able to improve community knowledge regarding NCD prevention.]]>
