<![CDATA[Agriculture in Karangagung Village, Glagah District, Lamongan Regency is a crucial element in the rural economic system, serving as a pillar of daily life. However, agricultural practices often have negative environmental impacts, such as soil degradation, declining water quality, and ecosystem imbalances. From the perspective of Islamic economics, agricultural activities should not only focus on production and financial profit but must also be based on ethics and responsibility for environmental sustainability. This study aims to explore how agricultural activities affect environmental balance by referring to Islamic economic principles. The research is qualitative-descriptive and based on academic literature discussing agriculture, ecology, and Islamic concepts such as mīzān (balance), istikhlāf (the role of a steward), and the prohibition of fasād (destruction). The theoretical findings indicate that applying these principles can serve as a moral and spiritual foundation for developing an agricultural system that is not only productive but also environmentally sustainable. This approach contributes to increasing ecological awareness so that agricultural practices align with Islamic values and support ecosystem sustainability. ]]>
