Abstract

The concept of financial well-being has garnered increasing global attention as a multidimensional construct that integrates economic, psychological, and behavioral dimensions in assessing individual financial welfare. This study aims to explore research trends, thematic structures, and patterns of scientific collaboration in financial well-being studies, with a specific focus on attitude and behavior constructs. A bibliometric approach was employed, analyzing data retrieved from the Scopus database covering the period from 2013 to 2024, based on a search query incorporating keywords related to financial well-being, financial literacy, behavior, and attitude. The analysis was conducted using VOSviewer software to map keyword co-occurrence networks, thematic clusters, and collaboration patterns among authors, institutions, and countries. The findings indicate a consistent increase in publication output, reflecting the growing academic relevance of behavioral and attitudinal dimensions in financial well-being research. Thematic mapping identified five primary clusters—namely financial literacy, financial behavior, financial attitude, psychological well-being, and behavioral finance—affirming the interdisciplinary nature of this field. Collaboration analysis revealed that research networks remain predominantly concentrated among developed nations, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, while contributions from developing countries remain limited. These findings underscore the importance of expanding cross-national collaboration and integrating behavioral, psychological, and digital perspectives into future financial research. Overall, this study provides a comprehensive overview of the evolution and intellectual structure of financial well-being research, serving as a foundational reference for theoretical development and applied practice in financial behavior and welfare.
