<![CDATA[Anemia is highly prevalent among adolescent girls due to malnutrition and menstrual blood loss. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 28% of females aged 15 and older suffer from this condition, which negatively impacts academic performance and physical endurance. Limited health awareness and healthcare access make simple media, such as pocketbooks, an effective educational solution. This study evaluates the impact of the "CERIA" (Prevent the Risk of Anemia) pocketbook on the knowledge and attitudes of adolescent girls at SMP Negeri 2 Kembaran, Banyumas, Central Java. This quantitative study utilized a pre-experimental, one-group pre-test and post-test design. From a population of 283 adolescent girls, a sample of 80 students was selected via cluster random sampling. Data were analyzed using the paired sample t-test. Post-intervention, the number of respondents with 'good' knowledge rose from 41 ('sufficient') to 77, while those with 'good' attitudes increased from 51 to 67. Statistical analysis revealed a p-value of 0.000 0.05, indicating a significant positive effect. In conclusion, the CERIA pocketbook serves as an accessible and engaging health education tool for adolescents.]]>
