<![CDATA[Visually impaired individuals continue to face mobility challenges due to the limitations of conventional white canes, which can only detect obstacles through direct physical contact. This study aims to design and develop an Arduino Nano-based smart cane as a navigation aid capable of detecting obstacles in real time and providing user location information. The system integrates an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor for obstacle detection, a Neo-6M GPS module for location tracking, a buzzer and vibration motor as notification devices, and the Mamdani Fuzzy method to determine the appropriate warning level based on the detected distance. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method, consisting of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. The testing results indicate that the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor successfully detected obstacles with a measurement error ranging from 0.00% to 5.00%. The Mamdani Fuzzy method effectively regulated the vibration motor intensity and buzzer frequency according to the obstacle distance, while the GPS module accurately displayed the user's coordinates. Overall system testing demonstrated that all components operated in an integrated manner to detect obstacles and provide timely warnings to the user.]]>
