<![CDATA[Patient safety, particularly fall prevention, is an important aspect of healthcare quality. The implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for fall prevention requires optimal nursing management functions. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between nursing management functions and the implementation of fall prevention SOPs in the inpatient wards of Undata Regional General Hospital, Palu. This study employed a quantitative approach with an analytical cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of 37 staff nurses working in the inpatient wards of Undata Regional General Hospital, Palu, and all participants were included as the study sample using a total sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires assessing nursing management functions and the implementation of fall prevention SOPs, which had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with the Spearman rank correlation test at a significance level of p < 0.05. The results showed that most respondents had not implemented the fall prevention SOPs optimally, with 23 respondents (62.2%) classified as not implementing the SOPs and 14 respondents (37.8%) classified as implementing them. The Spearman rank correlation test showed a significant relationship between nursing management functions and the implementation of fall prevention SOPs (p = 0.027; r = 0.363). In conclusion, there was a significant relationship between nursing management functions and the implementation of fall prevention SOPs in the inpatient wards of Undata Regional General Hospital, Palu.]]>
