<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the coordination of the Subdistrict Head in Public Street Lighting (PJU) services in Singkep Subdistrict in 2025 and identify supporting and inhibiting factors. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving the Singkep Subdistrict Head, the Lingga Regency Transportation Agency, village and urban-village officials, and community members. Data were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña interactive model through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with source triangulation applied to strengthen credibility. The findings indicate that coordination was generally fairly good in terms of communication, cooperation, and division of tasks. Communication occurred through formal and informal channels, while cooperation among the Subdistrict Government, Transportation Agency, and PT PLN (Persero) supported the handling of PJU problems according to institutional responsibilities. Task division was relatively clear, with the Subdistrict Government acting as coordinator and the Transportation Agency performing technical functions. However, coordination was constrained by limited budgets, materials, technical personnel, and insufficient public understanding of complaint mechanisms. Strengthening resources, public communication, and interinstitutional coordination is therefore necessary to improve responsive and sustainable PJU services. ]]>
