Introduction: One of the causes of stunting is the mother's lack of knowledge in providing care for the nutritional needs of children. Mother's knowledge is an important aspect to pay attention to in overcoming stunting in children. Mother's knowledge about stunting prevention can be increased by conducting health education to mothers Methods: The research design used was a pre-experimental research design type one group pretest-posttest. The population in this study were 33 mothers at the Kaktus Posyandu. The total sample was 33 respondents because it used a total sampling technique with bivariate data analysis by the Wilcoxon test. Results: The results of the research show that there is an influence of health education using audiovisual media on mother’s knowledge about stunting at Posyandu Kamelia area UPT Puskesmas Tepus 1 Gunungkidul in 2024 at a significance level of 0.001 < 0.05. Conclusion There is an influence of health education using audiovisual media on mother's knowledge about stunting at Posyandu Kamelia area UPT Puskesmas Tepus 1 Gunungkidul in 2024.
