This study examines the role of Halal Product Process (PPH) assistants in supporting micro-enterprises to obtain halal certification and its contribution to strengthening their economic performance in Tempuran District. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that PPH assistants perform roles extending beyond administrative assistance by providing education, technical guidance, and facilitating the implementation of halal standards throughout the production process. Their assistance enables micro-enterprises to understand halal requirements, complete certification procedures, and improve product quality. Halal certification contributes to greater consumer trust, broader market access, stronger product competitiveness, and increased business confidence. The study also reveals that the Halal Center of Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Syubbanul Wathon Magelang plays a strategic role in developing a local halal ecosystem through continuous mentoring and community empowerment. These findings highlight that halal certification is not merely a regulatory requirement but also an instrument for enhancing the sustainability and competitiveness of micro-enterprises through collaborative assistance and strengthening halal awareness.
