This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Heyzine interactive learning media in improving students' learning interest in economics subjects at SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental type, specifically a one group pretest-posttest design involving 40 students of class X8 selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires, observation sheets, and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive statistics, Paired Sample t-Test, and N-Gain analysis. The results showed a significant increase in students' learning interest, with a mean pretest score of 53.87 (moderate category) increasing to 72.02 in the posttest (approaching the high category). The Paired Sample t-Test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning H1 was accepted. The N-Gain analysis obtained a value of 0.4001 or 40.01%, categorized as moderate increase, yet classified as less effective based on effectiveness criteria. This study recommends extending the duration of media use, combining it with more varied learning strategies, and ensuring adequate supporting infrastructure to optimize effectiveness.
