This study aimed determine the effect of group counseling services with the solution focus brief counseling (SFBC) approach to reduce future career anxiety in students. The method used in this study is an experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest group design. The study population consisted of 26 students of class XI Culinary Arts 5 of SMK Negeri 3 Kota Bengkulu. The sample used was five students selected using a purposive sampling technique based on high and very high levels of future career anxiety. The data collection instrument used a customized Likert scale questionnaire. The data analysis technique used was a paired sample T-test. The results of the analysis indicate that there is an effect of group counseling services with the solution focus brief counseling (SFBC) approach in reducing future career anxiety, which shows a Sig. (2-Tailed) value of 0.00 <0.05 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on these results, it can be concluded that group counseling services with the solution focus brief counseling (SFBC) approach are effective in reducing future career anxiety in students.
