This research was motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students on whole number material. The low learning outcomes were caused by the lack of student involvement in the learning process and the use of less interesting learning media. This study aimed to improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes through the use of Canva-based interactive media. This research employed qualitative and quantitative approaches using Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were 27 fifth grade students of SDN Karangbesuki 3 Malang City. Data collection techniques used learning outcome tests and observation sheet. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that the use of Canva-based interactive media could improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes. The percentage of students’ learning mastery in the pre-cycle was 25.93%, increasing to 70.37% in cycle I and 88.89% in cycle II. In addition, the use of Canva-based interactive media was able to increase students’ activeness and motivation in mathematics learning. Therefore, Canva-based interactive media is effective in improving mathematics learning outcomes on whole number material for fifth grade elementary school students.
