This study aims to explain the implementation of the tahfidz program to improve students’ understanding of the Qur’an and Hadith at MAPN 4 Medan. This qualitative descriptive study employed observation, interviews, and documentation as research methods. The results of the study indicate that the tahfidz program is implemented through memorization, muraja’ah, tajwid guidance, and integration with learning materials. This program enhances students’ understanding of the meaning of verses and their application, as well as the meaning of hadiths. Therefore, the implementation of the tahfidz program has a positive impact on the study of the Qur’an and Hadith and helps effectively foster students’ religious habits within the madrasah environment.
