<![CDATA[Corruption remains a deeply entrenched structural problem undermining Indonesia's democratic foundations. This study analyzes how Metro TV and tvOne - two national news television stations with distinct ownership backgrounds and political affiliations - construct the reality of corruption issues through their respective news frames. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using Robert M. Entman's (1993) framing analysis model as the primary analytical framework. Data were collected through documentation of prime-time news programs on both stations from January to June 2024, with 60 news segments purposively selected as the research sample. Analysis was conducted across Entman's four framing elements - define problems, diagnose causes, make moral judgement, and treatment recommendation - with instrument reliability tested through Holsti's coefficient (CR = 0.84) and Scott's Pi (π = 0.79). Findings reveal systematic differences between both outlets: Metro TV predominantly frames corruption as a legal-institutional problem (47%) rooted in bureaucratic-systemic weaknesses (37%), whereas tvOne more dominantly frames it as a political-individual problem (43%), identifying individual greed (43%) as the primary cause. The most pronounced difference appears in the moral judgement element, where tvOne's criticism toward law enforcement institutions exceeds Metro TV's by more than twofold. This study concludes that these differences are explicable through the political economy of communication framework, particularly the relationship between media ownership, owners' political affiliations, and editorial orientation.]]>
