<![CDATA[This study aims to examine the process of internalizing religiously-based academic values in the character development of students at public and private universities in Surakarta. The approach used is descriptive quantitative, employing a survey technique with a questionnaire consisting of ten statements on a four-point Likert scale. Data were collected from 44 students across various universities in Surakarta, including UMS, UNS, UIN Raden Mas Said, Slamet Riyadi University, Duta Bangsa University, and other institutions. The instrument measured two main dimensions: religiosity (regular worship, religious values as a guide, moral conduct, and participation in campus religious activities) and character-based academic values (honesty, independence, discipline, anti-plagiarism, integrity of values, and commitment to learning). The results showed an overall average score of 3.54 on a 4-point scale, with a positive agreement rate of 97.3%. The dimension of personal religiosity received the highest score, while participation in campus religious activities received the lowest score (average 3.09; positive 88.6%). These findings indicate that religiosity plays a significant role as an internal foundation for the formation of students’ academic integrity and character, and are consistent with various previous studies that confirm a positive correlation between religiosity and academic achievement and resilience.]]>
