This study aimed to determine the level of knowledge of amateur sports players regarding ankle sprain injury management. The study employed a quantitative approach using a descriptive method. The research subjects consisted of amateur sports players who actively participated in sports activities. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire covering indicators of ankle sprain understanding, causes of injury, signs and symptoms, initial treatment, the RICE method (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation), rehabilitation, and injury prevention. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques in the form of percentages and knowledge level categories. The results showed that the level of knowledge of amateur sports players regarding ankle sprain management was generally in the moderate category. Most respondents understood the definition, causes, and symptoms of ankle sprain injuries, but still had limited knowledge regarding initial treatment, rehabilitation, and injury prevention. There were still players who handled injuries improperly, such as continuing sports activities after injury and directly massaging swollen areas. Therefore, more intensive education and socialization regarding sports injury management are needed so that amateur sports players can have a better understanding of handling and preventing ankle sprain injuries.
