This research was motivated by the limited use of interactive learning media in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning in elementary schools, especially on abstract materials such as the water cycle. Teachers mainly used textbooks, pictures, and simple videos, causing students to be less active and less motivated during the learning process. Therefore, an Augmented Reality-based Flipbook media integrated with the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model was developed to create a more interactive and meaningful learning experience. This study aimed to produce an Augmented Reality-based Flipbook media for fifth grade IPAS learning that is valid and practical. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The research subjects were fifth grade students of SDN 12 Padang Besi and SDN 17 Batu Gadang. The data were collected through validation sheets from material experts, language experts, media experts, and questionnaires from teachers and students. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis techniques. The results showed that the developed Augmented Reality-based Flipbook media was categorized as very valid and very practical. Therefore, the developed media is feasible to be used as a learning medium for IPAS in fifth grade elementary schools.
