<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the low reading literacy skills of grade VB students at SDN Sendangmulyo 02 and to determine the causal factors and possible solutions. The study used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, initial tests, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that students' reading literacy skills are still low with an average initial test score of 54, below the KKM of 70. The low reading literacy skills are influenced by the suboptimal implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS), low interest in reading, weak basic reading skills, low learning motivation, and the use of less varied learning methods and media. Possible solutions include optimizing the implementation of GLS, using innovative learning media and methods, providing a learning environment that supports a culture of literacy, and increasing cooperation between teachers and parents.]]>
