<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the importance of improving the quality of human resources and workforce readiness amid increasing competition in the industrial sector. The existence of Professional Certification Institutions (LSP) is considered to have an important role in providing competency recognition through the implementation of professional certification in accordance with workplace standards. This study employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. The research subjects consisted of two competency assessors and the Head of the LSP at BBPVP Serang. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Professional Certification Institution (LSP) at BBPVP Serang plays an important role in supporting students’ work readiness through the implementation of competency certification. Furthermore, the findings show that the Professional Certification Institution (LSP) at BBPVP Serang plays a significant role in improving students’ work readiness through the implementation of competency certification, the development of professional attitudes, the enhancement of technical skills, the strengthening of participants’ self-confidence, and the provision of competency recognition in accordance with industrial standards. Therefore, continuous improvement in the quality of certification implementation, participant assistance, and cooperation with the industrial sector is necessary to ensure that training graduates are more prepared to enter the workforce.]]>
