<![CDATA[This study discusses the concept of tarbiyah in Islamic education from the perspective of Hasan Langgulung. The background of this research is based on the increasingly complex challenges of Islamic education in the modern era, especially regarding moral degradation and the imbalance between intellectual and spiritual development. This study aims to analyze Hasan Langgulung’s thoughts regarding the basic concept of tarbiyah, the objectives of Islamic education within the framework of tarbiyah, and its relevance to contemporary Islamic education. The method used in this study is library research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The primary sources are Hasan Langgulung’s works, while secondary sources include books, journals, and other relevant scientific references. The results of the study indicate that tarbiyah according to Hasan Langgulung is a comprehensive process of fostering human potential encompassing spiritual, intellectual, moral, and social dimensions. Islamic education is directed toward forming balanced individuals who are capable of carrying out their roles as servants of Allah and caliphs on earth. Furthermore, Hasan Langgulung’s concept of tarbiyah remains relevant in addressing modern educational challenges because it emphasizes character building, moral values, and the integration of religious and general knowledge.]]>
