Globalization brings various influences on people's lives, including the declining attention of the younger generation toward local culture. This condition makes the strengthening of cultural identity an important aspect of basic education. This study aims to examine the strengthening of cultural identity among elementary school students amidst the wave of globalization through an ethnosocial approach. The study utilizes a literature review method by collecting and analyzing various relevant literature sources. The results of the study show that the ethnosocial approach can be implemented through the integration of cultural values in learning, the integration of social aspects in learning activities, and the utilization of local wisdom as a learning resource. This approach plays a role in increasing cultural awareness, fostering a sense of belonging toward local culture, and strengthening students' cultural identity. Thus, the ethnosocial approach can serve as a relevant alternative to support the strengthening of cultural identity among elementary school students amidst the wave of globalization.
