This study is motivated by the frequent occurrence of departure delays of KM. Dorolonda, which are suspected to be influenced by disorder and lack of coordination in the embarkation and debarkation processes. The main problem is how these processes affect the ship’s delay time. This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of embarkation and debarkation on departure delays. This research uses a quantitative approach with an associative design. The variables in this study include embarkation and debarkation (X), and delay time (Y). Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and field observations involving 348 respondents selected using Slovin’s formula from a population of 2,685 individuals. Data analysis was conducted using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that embarkation and debarkation processes have a significant effect on ship delays. The main factors include disorderly queues, congestion at the gangway, activities of port workers and vendors, and limited access. The more effective and orderly these processes are, the lower the likelihood of departure delays.rangkatan kapal.
