Student learning activeness is one of the important factors in the success of the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of mathematics teachers’ classroom management on students’ learning activeness in Grade X at SMA Swasta PGRI 20 Siborong-borong in the 2025/2026 academic year. The method used in this study was inferential quantitative research. The population of this study consisted of all Grade X students of SMA Swasta PGRI 20 Siborong-borong, totaling 280 students, with a research sample of 74 students determined using the stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected using a closed questionnaire consisting of 52 items, namely 26 items for variable X and 26 items for variable Y. The results of data analysis showed that there was a positive and significant effect of classroom management on students’ learning activeness at SMA Swasta PGRI 20 Siborong-borong, as evidenced by the following data analysis: 1) Analysis prerequisite tests: a) The normality test obtained an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.200 > 0.05; b) The linearity test obtained a significance value of deviation from linearity of 0.620 > 0.05. 2) Hypothesis testing: a) The correlation test between variables X and Y obtained an rxy value of 0.706 > rtable (α = 0.05, n = 74) = 0.226, indicating a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y. b) The significance test of the correlation obtained a tcount value of 8.454 > ttable (α = 0.05, df = n-2 = 72) = 1.993, indicating a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. c) Regression analysis obtained the regression equation Ŷ = 16.028 + 0.782X. d) The F-test obtained Fcount > Ftable (α = 0.05; numerator df = k = 1; denominator df = n-k = 74-1 = 73), namely 71.476 > 3.97. 3) The coefficient of determination test for regression (r²) was 49.8%, while the remaining percentage was influenced by other factors. Thus, H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted.
