Digital transformation has brought about major alterations in the banking sector, including Islamic banking. The rise of financial technology, or fintech, offers Islamic banks the chance to enhance their operational effectiveness, improve the quality of services, and broaden the access to Islamic financial services in Indonesia. This research intends to examine management techniques for implementing fintech in Islamic banks, the adherence to sharia principles in digital innovations, and how fintech adoption influences the competitive edge of Islamic banks in the digital landscape. A qualitative research method was employed, focusing on literature analysis by studying books, scholarly articles, and regulations that pertain to Islamic fintech. Findings indicate that the adoption of fintech can enhance service efficiency, speed up transactions, and increase the accessibility of Islamic financial services for the public. Nonetheless, the implementation of fintech also encounters obstacles such as cybersecurity threats, shortages in human resources, and the necessity of adhering to sharia guidelines. As a result, it is essential to employ effective management methods, bolster technological infrastructure, enhance digital skills, and ensure strict adherence to sharia oversight so that the digital transformation in Islamic banks can be executed effectively and sustainably.
