<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the effect of learning using the Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (PQ4R) learning model on students' cognitive learning outcomes on global warming material. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a posttest only control group design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class given PQ4R-based learning and the control class with conventional learning. The instrument used is a posttest. Data were analyzed using normality, homogeneity and Independent Sample t-test tests. The research results showed that there was a significant difference between the cognitive learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and the control class with a significance value of <0.05. Thus, learning by applying the PQ4R model has an effect on improving students' cognitive learning outcomes on global warming material.]]>
