This study aims to describe the learning process that applies an interactive digital application in class VIII of SMP Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau City. The background of this study is the alignment of dance learning activities that use technology in the digital era that can help students become more creative, active and innovative. The Cap Cut application was chosen because it is relevant to the needs of junior high school students, with various features that are easily accessible and free. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. This study was conducted for one month, involving dance teachers, class VIII students, and the Principal. The results of this study indicate that the learning process runs systematically through the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. Teachers use a creative exploration approach in dance learning to convey traditional dance material and elements of traditional dance. Evaluation is carried out formatively, aiming to monitor student progress during the learning process.
