This study discusses sewing training strategis in increasing partticipants’ interest and skills at BBPVP Serang. Sewing training, as part of non-formal education, plays an important role in improving life skills, vocational abilities, and participants’ independence. The purpose of this study is to identify the training strategies implemented, the training process, and their impact on improving participants’ interest and competencies. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a mixed methods approach through a convergent parallel design. Date collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, pre- and post-training questionnaires, and practical skill test. The result show that systematic, practice-based, and participant-oriented training strategies are able to increase motivation, techninal sewing skills, and participants’ independence. In addition, sewing training provides opportunities for participants to create independent businesses and improve work readiness. Therefore, the sewing training program at BBPVP Serang contributes positively to community empowerment and unemployment reduction.
