This study aims to analyze the thought of Shaykh Muhammad Sa'id Ramadan al-Buti regarding tahdīd al-nasl (birth limitation) and its relevance to family planning practices in modern society. The debate surrounding family planning in Islam continues due to differing scholarly opinions concerning the legal status of birth regulation and birth limitation. On the one hand, Islam encourages Muslims to have offspring as a means of preserving future generations. On the other hand, there is a need to consider aspects of health, economic stability, and family welfare. This research employs a library research method with a qualitative approach.
