The study looked at how second graders use rough Madurese and what that saus about their manners in speaking. Through observations and talking to teachers and kids, it became clear that words like “hâdeh” and “kakeh” still pop up a lot when students joke around with friends. They pick it up mainly from jome, their friend circle, and what they see on social media. But when they talk to teachers, most of them switch to politer languange. In short, the habit comes from everyday life, so building polite speech needs to happen in both the classroom and at home
