<![CDATA[The ecological citizenship movement is an effort undertaken by youth to build community awareness of the environment in Joet Hamlet, Darek Village, Praya Barat Daya District, Central Lombok Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine how the ecological citizenship movement strengthens citizen engagement. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study to explain how the ecological citizenship movement was formed and implemented by youth to increase community participation in environmental care. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the ecological citizenship movement was implemented through three activities: socialization and education on waste management, group exercise and mutual cooperation activities, and collaboration with community health centers to provide free health services.
