This research aims to determine the level of peer interaction, the level of student interest in learning, and the influence of peers on student interest in learning at SMP Negeri 4 Jambi City. The research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. The population was 345 class VIII students with a sample of 185 students determined through simple random sampling. Data was collected using a Likert scale questionnaire which had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics, normality test, linearity test, and simple linear regression. The research results show that peer interaction is in the high category (72.99%) and students' interest in learning is also in the high category (65.41%). The regression equation obtained is Y = 30.400 + 0.658X with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so that there is a positive influence of peers on students' interest in learning at SMP Negeri 4 Jambi City.
