This investigation aims to examine how fourth graders at Bina Taruna 3 Private Elementary School in Medan are influenced by audiovisual media in their pursuit of scientific knowledge. Utilizing a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group, the research was quantitative in character. Two groups of students participated in the research; one group used visual assistance while studying, while the other group used more traditional methods. An interest questionnaire in learning and pre- and post-tests to measure learning outcomes were part of the study tools employed. Several statistical methods were used to examine the data, such as an Independent Sample T-test, tests for homogeneity and normalcy, and others. The findings demonstrated that students' motivation in learning was positively and significantly impacted by the use of audiovisual media, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Compared to the traditional classroom setting, the audiovisual learning environment piqued students' interest in the material more. Final grades were positively correlated with students' levels of participation in the learning process. These studies demonstrate that the use of audiovisual medium may enhance learning by making it more engaging, participatory, and efficient. So, the use of audiovisual medium is only one more way that primary school pupils may be introduced to scientific concepts and ideas.
